Children correspond to spring, to dawn, to the rising of yang within yin, to wind. About the author Elisa Rossi MD, acupuncturist, licensed psychotherapist (Jungian) with a PhD in Clinical Psychology and a BA in Philosophy, has been involved in pediatrics and Chinese Medicine since 1983. After studying pediatric tuina in China, she introduced it into her practice in Italy in the 1990s, opening her own specialist Xiaoxiao pediatric clinic in Milan in 2005. She is also the author of Shen: Psycho-Emotional Aspects of Chinese Medicine and has lectured widely in Europe on the application of Chinese Medicine in pediatrics and psychotherapy.
