About the author Xu Yihou is Chief Doctor and Professor of the Dermatology Department of Wuhan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he has worked for more than 40 years. Professor Xu is currently working by invitation at the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinical Research Center in the IACH Hong Kong Baptist University. He has published a number of books on skin disorders; many of his articles have also appeared in international journals.
